Reading Phonics: baseword and suffix with the suffix –s, pluralization, narrative fiction vs. informational books, reading with accuracy and

prosody,– high frequency trick words: were, are, who, what, when, where, there, here, sample words: hills, bugs, chills

Writing and Language – Grammar: identify capital letters at the beginning of a sentence, describes an experience in writing, prints with appropriate spacing between words and sentences, punctuation (question mark) exclamation point, quotation marks,

 Information and Study Skills – following instructions

Math – count to 120, starting at any number less than 120, read and write numerals, represent a number of objects with a written numeral, represent and interpret data, how many more or less are in one category than in another, place value, even and odd numbers, fun with shapes and fractions

Social Studies –American Heroes - Ben Franklin

Science – sounds - uses books and other media to obtain information related to science concepts/seasons, light and shadows

Health – conflict resolution, (on going) school safety rules, manners

 Monday: Complete/Review week(s) 1-3 activities (refer to the Homework Guide –unit 6 -(week 3) - Read a story.

Tuesday: Practice writing sentences.(Use the trick words.)

Wednesday: Complete /Review activity sheets. Read a story.

Thursday: Review the Fry sight words / high-frequency trick words/   

                   words with bonus letters and words with glued sounds.
